Why families choose in-home

Therapy where your child already feels comfortable

Clinic rooms are unfamiliar. Waiting lists are long. In-home therapy fits around your child's day, and progress carries into real routines because that's where it happens.

Questions parents ask

Before you book

What does it cost?

One fixed session rate, weekly or fortnightly, and you'll have it in writing after the free consult before you commit to anything. Plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants can use their therapy funding; private families pay the same rate directly.

Can we use NDIS funding?

Yes, if the plan is plan-managed or self-managed and therapy is in the plan. NDIA-managed (agency-managed) plans can only be billed by registered providers, which Rize Therapy is not; we'll explain the options on the consult.

Is there a waitlist?

Not a long one. After the free consult we match you with a therapist in your area and agree a start date that works for your family.

Who will be working with my child?

Qualified speech pathologists, occupational therapists and behaviour practitioners, each holding a minimum bachelor-level qualification and the registration relevant to their profession. You'll meet your therapist before sessions begin.

Does in-home therapy actually work?

Skills practised in the place they're needed, with the people who are there every day, carry over better than skills practised in a clinic room. That's the whole idea behind coming to you.

What happens on the free consult?

A therapist calls for 30 minutes to hear about your child, your goals and your funding, and tells you plainly whether and how we can help. No charge, no obligation.
